ST. PAUL, MN – Americans for Prosperity-Minnesota (AFP-MN) today commended the Senate for passing SF 4511, a bill that allows businesses to safely reopen if they follow public health guidelines.
AFP-MN State Director Jason Flohrs issued the following statement:
“Now that we’ve taken steps to flatten the curve, we need to turn our attention to enabling our businesses to reopen if they can implement health and safety guidelines. This bill is an important step to doing just that.
Rather than picking and choosing what is “essential”, this bill mitigates the economic suffering of Minnesota families and gets our state up and running and on a path to recovery. We urge the House to trust Minnesotans to open in a safe way as quickly as possible by sending this bill to the governor’s desk.”
Background:
AFP-MN is currently running digital ads directing Minnesotans to a digital tool that enables them to tell their lawmakers to oppose state bailouts and another digital tool urging Minnesotans to tell lawmakers to safely restart the economy and help get Minnesotans back to work.
