Jul 9, 2021 by AFP

CHARLESTON, S.C. – On Monday, July 12, 2021, Americans for Prosperity-South Carolina (AFP-SC) will gather with Congresswoman Nancy Mace and Former U.S. Attorney Bill Nettles along with other critical members of the community to discuss policing reform in South Carolina.

Topics to be discussed will include:

  • Front-end reforms that simultaneously improve public safety outcomes and police-community relations.
  • Treatment vs. incarceration for those with mental illness or substance issues to prevent unnecessary incarceration and overcriminalization.
