MEDIA ADVISORY: AFP Hosts Glenn Jacobs for Discussion on How to Safely Reopen Economy
KNOXVILLE, TN – Americans for Prosperity-Tennessee (AFP-TN) today announced it is hosting an online conversation with Knox County Mayor Glenn Jacobs about his plan to safely reopen Knox County’s economy.
Americans for Prosperity will discuss how policymakers, public health officials, and communities can work together to provide clear standards that businesses can adapt to meet to reopen safely. With nearly 400,000 Tennesseans filing for unemployment the last five weeks, AFP is urging lawmakers to work with their communities and businesses to develop bottom up solutions to protect both public health and enable Tennessee to safely get back to work.
