MEDIA ADVISORY: AFP Hosts Don’t Bust the Filibuster Forum
TEMPE, AZ – Americans for Prosperity (AFP-AZ) announced it will host former U.S. Senator Jon Kyl, AFP President Tim Phillips, and LIBRE Initiative President Daniel Garza for a forum on the filibuster tomorrow at 6:00 PM PST.
Following calls from Senate Democrat leadership to end the filibuster, the panelists will discuss why ending the filibuster will lead to more power to pass one-sided legislation through Congress that would otherwise fail and open a Pandora’s box of sweeping changes to our institutions.
