Grassroots group praises tax reform for increasing workforce, opportunity for Granite Staters
CONCORD, N.H. – Americans for Prosperity-New Hampshire (AFP-NH) offered the following comments on the release of May state unemployment data, showing that New Hampshire’s economy added 2,100 new workers, while the state’s workforce added 2,430 individuals last month.
“Thanks to tax relief by employers at the state level and federal tax reform, our economy is on fire, and that’s a great sign for people looking for a good job,” said Greg Moore, AFP-NH State Director. “While we’re seeing the workforce shrinking nationally, New Hampshire’s growth is pulling in new workers into our economy. Our pro-growth policies are giving opportunities to thousands of our friends and neighbors to live their own version of the American Dream, on their terms. That is why AFP-NH will continue to double down on our efforts and push for more tax and regulatory relief.”
