ICYMI: Congressman Kevin Kiley Joins Americans for Prosperity Telephone Town Hall with Californians

Arlington, VA — In case you missed it, Americans for Prosperity (AFP) held a telephone town hall with Congressman Kevin Kiley for a conversation on recent legislation passed by Congress and what it means for California families and small businesses.

During the town hall, Congressman Kiley discussed the impact of the Working Families Tax Cuts and answered questions directly from constituents about the issues that matter most to Californians.

The Sacramento Bee reported that on average, California taxpayers saw an average federal tax refund of $3,344, the 11th-highest in the country. Those savings are meaningful for working families dealing with high costs and economic uncertainty.

AFP Western Region Director Heather Andrews said:

“Across California, families and small businesses continue to feel the pressure of rising costs and economic uncertainty. Congressman Kiley has been a strong voice for policies like the Working Families Tax Cuts that help Californians keep more of what they earn.

“We’d like to thank Congressman Kiley for joining us for an engaging conversation with constituents about the issues that matter most to them and the policies that can help make life more affordable for working families. AFP will continue working alongside leaders who support policies that expand opportunity, lower costs, and help Californians build a more secure future.”
