NASHVILLE, TN – Yesterday, to kick off the start of the 113th General Assembly, Americans for Prosperity – Tennessee (AFP-TN) hosted a day at the Capitol with grassroots activists to advocate for policy priorities including expanding school choice, ensuring parents have a say in their children’s education, and repealing Certificate of Need laws.
AFP-TN State Director Tori Venable released the following statement:
“As we begin another legislative session in the Volunteer State, AFP-TN will be at the forefront of the legislative process to advance key education policies and repeal Certificate of Need laws.
“Tennesseans are deeply concerned about these issues, and we will continue to be an influential voice by urging legislators to create policy solutions that bring much-needed relief to families across our state.”
