AUSTIN, TX – In case you missed it, Americans for Prosperity-Texas (AFP-TX) and its sister organization The LIBRE Initiative joined Texas Governor Greg Abbott at the governor’s mansion for the signing of historic school choice legislation (S.B.2) on Saturday alongside students and families from across the state.
Team members from both organizations brought their own families and neighbors to the ceremony to celebrate the future success of the millions of Texas students who will now benefit from the nation’s largest day-one school choice program. The ceremony also marked a major legislative victory for AFP-TX and LIBRE, whose activists have worked around the clock to build support for the legislation since 2023.
