SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – In case you missed it… Wednesday, Americans for Prosperity-South Dakota (AFP-SD) hosted a Congressional Candidate Forum featuring Democratic nominee Tim Bjorkman, Libertarian nominee George Hendrickson, Republican nominee Dusty Johnson, and independent candidate Ron Wieczorek, all vying to represent South Dakotans in the U.S. House of Representatives. The event was open to the public and saw a full room of South Dakotans in attendance, including interested government students from Roosevelt High School and Augustana University. Candidates discussed a wide range of issues impacting the state, including tariffs, criminal justice reform, and many more.
AFP-SD State Director issued the following statement following the forum:
“With a full room of South Dakotans in attendance, Americans for Prosperity-South Dakota’s Congressional Candidate Forum was a resounding success. The forum provided a great discussion of policies that truly impact the everyday lives of South Dakotans.”
