ICYMI: AFP-OH Hosts ‘Protect Prosperity’ Roundtables with Reps. Miller and Rulli

Feb 20, 2025 by AFP

Columbus, OH – Yesterday, Americans for Prosperity – Ohio (AFP-OH) held roundtables in Rocky River and Youngstown with Reps. Max Miller and Michael Rulli.

Business owners and city councilmen were among the attendees, and conversations at the roundtables focused on AFP’s “Protect Prosperity” campaign and supporting the renewal of President Trump’s highly successful Tax Cuts and Jobs Acts (TCJA) to keep more hard-earned money in Ohioans’ pockets.

AFP-OH State Director Donovan O’Neil released the following statement:

“This year, Congress is facing a countdown to a crisis that threatens family budgets nationwide. If Congress fails to renew the TCJA, Ohioans will be left paying over $2,030 more in taxes. Along with increasing the burden of inflation on working families, the expiration of these tax cuts would cripple local businesses with a $821 tax increase and ultimately cost Ohio over 26,000 jobs.

“If we are going to reignite the American Dream, we need to start with protecting the progress we made with the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, as well as expand on pro-growth tax policy that will jump start the economy and get more Ohioans back to work.

“We are proud to partner with Reps. Miller and Rulli to protect prosperity and ensure that Congress acts before millions of Ohioans face crippling increases in their tax bills.”
