Gas Tax Increase Benefits New Hampshire at the Expense of Bay Staters
MANCHESTER, NH – Americans for Prosperity-New Hampshire (AFP-NH) today urged Massachusetts lawmakers to oppose a gas and diesel tax.
Americans for Prosperity-New Hampshire (AFP-NH) State Director Greg Moore issued the following statement:
“Raising the gas tax will benefit New Hampshire’s economy, but end up hurting low and fixed-income Bay Staters. Raising the cost of everyday goods families rely on is not the solution to improve the state’s infrastructure. Instead of asking taxpayers for more money, lawmakers need to address the underlying issues in the state’s bureaucratic infrastructure processes.”
