Coming Soon: A Safer, Healthier Arizona

I’ve only been with Americans for Prosperity – Arizona for a few weeks, but I’m already so impressed at the work we’re accomplishing!

Activists like you make what we do possible, so thank you again for all your dedication and hard work.

I’ve been spending a lot of time in Phoenix this session, and I wanted you to be among the first to update on what’s going on in the legislature.

Here are the two biggest priorities for AFP – Arizona right now:

• Criminal justice reform – You’ve heard AFP talk a lot about reforms to the justice system this legislative session, and we’re making great progress so far! The bills we’re focusing on are HB 2361, HB 2424 and HB 2660. They would each make our criminal justice policies more equitable and just and provide more opportunities for second chances. Tell your lawmaker you support these reforms to move the process along!

• Health care – The state legislature has also won Arizona a victory, sending a bill on short-term, limited-duration health insurance plans to the governor’s desk. STLD insurance offer Arizonans more options for flexible, affordable health plans!

I’ll keep an eye on these issues and more as legislative session continues.
