LINCOLN, NE – Americans for Prosperity-Nebraska (AFP-NE) today launched the first of a series of videos highlighting small business owners who have adapted and innovated their business practices to safely reopen amid COVID-19.
The first video features small business owner Jeff Essink, owner of a franchise of Farrell’s Extreme Bodyshaping in Lincoln. In the video, Jeff Essink explains how he has innovated to keep his business open while protecting his customers’ safety.
AFP-NE State Director Jessica Shelburn issued the following statement:
“Nebraskans like Jeff Essink have demonstrated the ability to rise to the occasion during this pandemic. When business owners are given the ability to adapt and innovate to meet established health and safety standards, our state will recover more quickly and come out stronger from this crisis. With the lowest unemployment rate in the country, our lawmakers should continue enabling communities and employers to adapt, innovate and help each other, while protecting public health.”
