Americans for Prosperity-Virginia Announces Support for Congressman Dave Brat
RICHMOND, Va. – Americans for Prosperity-Virginia (AFP-VA) announced today it will support Representative Dave Brat in his race for re-election to Congress. Dave Brat has been a champion for Virginia families by consistently voting to lower taxes and restore fiscal sanity in Washington. The Commonwealth’s largest free market activist group will be canvassing, calling their neighbors, and running digital ads urging voters in Virginia’s seventh district to re-elect Dave Brat on November 6th.
“We are throwing the full strength of our grassroots network behind Dave Brat,” said AFP-VA State Director JC Hernandez. “Brat backs up his rhetoric by consistently voting to lower taxes and rein in Washington’s out of control spending that threatens to saddle our children and grandchildren with trillions in debt. He’s been a leader on policies that remove barriers to opportunity and that enable Virginians to improve their lives and communities. We fully support him.”
Brat is one of seven Congressmen the grassroots organization identified as a policy champion and announced it will support this election cycle.
