Omnibus-apalooza continues at the Minnesota Legislature with all budget bills hitting the floor this week and next. Today we’re talking with Tax Chair Senator Roger Chamberlain about how we can fund MN priorities WITHOUT raising taxes, and the damage that will be done to Minnesota’s future if the billions in new taxes in the House bills become law.
Then in the bottom of the hour, we check in with Isaac Orr from the Center of the American Experiment about their new study that shows it would cost MN $80 BILLION just to move PARTWAY toward Governor Tim Walz’s 100% carbon free standard. That’s $1200 per family per year just to move the needle a couple ten thousandths of a degree.
