Americans for Prosperity – Michigan Issues Statement on President Biden’s Campaign Stop in Detroit, Highlights Failures of “Bidenomics”
DETROIT, MI – Ahead of President Joe Biden’s campaign stop in Detroit today, Americans for Prosperity – Michigan (AFP-MI) is continuing to highlight the failure of the Biden-Harris administration and policies such as “Bidenomics” that harm vital industries and communities across our state.
AFP-MI Deputy State Director Tim Golding released the following statement:
“As President Biden desperately tries to salvage his campaign, he is once again looking to Michiganders to bail him out. Following California Governor Gavin Newsom’s presence in Michigan last week, and the President’s visit today, the Biden-Harris campaign is forced to put in overtime to convince us that they deserve another term.
“Unfortunately for President Biden and Vice President Harris, their record speaks for itself. Their failed policies have led to record-high inflation and skyrocketing costs, putting enormous pressure on Michigan families who are struggling to make ends meet. We simply cannot afford four more years of his agenda.”
Background
President Biden is doing everything in his power to mislead Michiganders with claims that his agenda is working for them. In addition to his visit on Friday, California Governor Gavin Newsom visited Michigan on Independence Day to campaign for Biden, and he dispatched Vice President Harris to Detroit in May.
