WASHINGTON, DC – This week, Americans for Prosperity – Oklahoma awarded four members of Congress with “Pioneers for Prosperity” awards: U.S. Senators James Lankford (R-OK) and Markwayne Mullin (R-OK), and U.S. Representatives Kevin Hern (OK-01), and Stephanie Bice (OK-05).
The award honors distinguished lawmakers who were policy champions during the 118th Congress.
The “Pioneers for Prosperity” stood firm against ill-advised legislation that would have deepened the hardships felt by working families and worked closely with AFP in Washington as well as with our grassroots communities in their home states.
Lawmakers earned recognition for supporting bills such as the Employee Rights Act, Strategic Production Response Act, Lower Energy Costs Act, Health Care Fairness for All Act, and other pivotal pieces of legislation that offer common-sense solutions that would improve Americans’ lives.

“Oklahomans have an outstanding delegation to Congress, and we’re thrilled to honor these four senators and representatives with ‘Pioneers for Prosperity’ awards in recognition of their principled leadership.
“Over the 118th Congress, Lankford, Mullin, Hern, and Bice have each worked to unleash prosperity across Oklahoma and the nation. We’re grateful for their valuable partnership in tackling America’s cost-of-living crisis and creating an economy that works for everyone.”
