Arlington, VA — Americans for Prosperity (AFP) awarded three members of Congress “Pioneers for Prosperity” awards. U.S. Representatives Young Kim (CA-40), Kevin Kiley (CA-03), and David Valadao (CA-22) earned this distinction for their principled leadership in the 119th Congress.
The award recognizes outstanding legislators who turn free-market ideas from the grassroots into policy that puts Californian taxpayers first. Award consideration looked beyond voting records to an official’s year-round presence and engagement with constituents in the state.
AFP Western Region Director Zak Kubin said:
“These representatives have fought for Californians in Washington, advancing meaningful tax relief and economic growth policies that have helped families and small businesses keep more of what they earn. Moreover, their commitment to their constituents and engagement across their communities is why we are proud to recognize them with the Pioneers for Prosperity award for the 119th Congress.”
