Americans for Prosperity – Colorado Issues Statement on President Biden’s State of the Union Address, Calls Out Rep. Caraveo’s Support for “Bidenomics”
DENVER, CO – Following President Biden’s State of the Union address, Americans for Prosperity – Colorado (AFP-CO) is highlighting the failures of “Bidenomics” and calling out Congresswoman Yadira Caraveo’s (CO-08) support for the President’s disastrous economic policies.
AFP-CO State Director Jesse Mallory released the following statement:
“While President Biden claimed victory in tonight’s State of the Union address, the reality is that his economic agenda has contributed to the Centennial State leading the nation with record levels of inflation and increased gas prices that will continue to surge through the spring. No matter how he tried to spin it, families simply can’t afford ‘Bidenomics.’
“Congresswoman Yadira Caraveo has continued to stand by President Biden’s radical agenda at every turn. Instead of supporting policy solutions that will reduce inflation rates and the cost of living in the 8th District and across Colorado, Congresswoman Caraveo is a rubber stamp for policies that are destroying American energy production, hindering economic growth, and ultimately bankrupting the country.”
A recent Denver Gazette article reported gas prices in the Denver metropolitan area will continue to “soar,” with statewide prices increasing 14.4 cents per gallon each week. Increased gas prices are expected to remain high from mid-February well into the spring. These reports come just months after Colorado was reported as having the highest rate of inflation of any state in America.

AFP-CO has been a leader in addressing how inflation and increased energy costs have drastically impacted the state. Over Presidents’ Day weekend, AFP-CO blasted “Bidenomics” for causing higher gas prices well into the spring. Last November, AFP-CO also called out Congresswoman Yadira Caraveo for supporting “Bidenomics.”
