Americans for Prosperity-Colorado Backs Funding for Educational Opportunities Bill

DENVER, CO—Today, Americans for Prosperity-Colorado (AFP-CO) announced its support for SB22-039, Funding for Educational Opportunities Bill, introduced by Sen. Lundeen and Sen. Kirkmeyer. This bill will expand educational opportunities to all students by empowering parents with a portion of state funding allocated for their child to use on approved education expenses.

The grassroots organization, AFP-CO, will be running a digital ad campaign and lobbying in support of SB22-039 in order to cultivate and showcase support for funding for education opportunities.

State Director for Americans for Prosperity-Colorado, Jesse Mallory, released the following statement:

“Thanks to Sen. Lundeen and Sen. Kirkmeyer for introducing legislation that will help us transform our education system away from the current one-size-fits-all approach that is failing so many students in Colorado and towards a personalized learning approach that values each students unique abilities and encourages the diversity that keeps Colorado innovative and thriving. We encourage all Colorado lawmakers to vote YES on SB22-039, so more students can customize their learning experience to meet their unique learning needs and realize their full potential.”
