AFP-WY Endorses J.D. Williams for Wyoming House of Representatives
CHEYENNE, WY – Americans for Prosperity-Wyoming (AFP-WY) today announced its endorsement of former state representative J.D. Williams for the Wyoming Republican Primary for House District 2.
AFP-WY State Director, Tyler Lindholm, gave the following statement:
“J.D. Williams is a principled, responsible leader who is the right man for the job at this critical moment for our state. For his fervent advocacy on everything from education freedom to energy abundance, AFP-WY is proud to make him our first-ever endorsed candidate for the Wyoming House of Representatives.
“The last thing Wyoming needs right now is more firebrands in the legislature who care more about picking fights and grandstanding on national politics than serving Wyomingites. Williams’ thoughtfulness and civility make him a model civil servant, who others should look to as a role model in next year’s legislative session.”
AFP-WY will support Williams ahead of the primary through door-to-door engagements, direct mail, and digital advertisements across the district to make sure he wins the Wyoming GOP primary in August.
