AFP-WI Calls Out Baldwin Over ‘Bidenomics’ Train Wreck in New Accountability Ads

Turns Up Heat on Tammy Baldwin for Voting for Higher Prices and More Inflation

Madison, WI – Americans for Prosperity has launched a new round of ads calling out Senator Tammy Baldwin (D-WI), who voted to greenlight Biden’s runaway spending train and unleash the higher prices and economic pain facing Americans.

In the last four years, Biden’s reckless spending has driven the national debt past $34 trillion – more than $258,000 of debt per household – and Americans’ purchasing power has declined as families have seen the prices of goods and services rise much faster than their income. Prices are now 17.9% higher and the average household is paying over $11,400 more each year just to maintain the same quality of life as when Biden took office.

AFP-WI State Director Megan Novak made the following statement:

“While Tammy Baldwin thinks this economy is the American Dream, Wisconsinites struggling to pay for gas and groceries know it’s a nightmare. Runaway government spending unleashed the highest levels of inflation in four decades and squeezed family budgets to the breaking point. Now hardworking Americans are paying more but getting less.

“Tammy Baldwin should have to explain to her constituents why she voted to raise prices and greenlight Biden’s most reckless economic policies. Wisconsinites know that America cannot afford any more of the Biden-Baldwin partnership and the train wreck of an economy they have created with ‘Bidenomics.’ It’s time to demand better from our elected leaders. We are committed to holding Baldwin accountable, stopping runaway government spending, and showing a better path forward for the Badger State.”
