AFP-VA Responds to Governor Northam’s Healthcare Vetoes
Following several vetoes by Governor Northam, Americans for Prosperity-Virginia (AFP-VA) State Director JC Hernandez issued the following statement:
“It’s disappointing that Governor Northam continues to add to the chaos in the general assembly. The bills he rejected would have brought innovative solutions to Virginia’s healthcare system. Instead, Governor Northam continues to stifle solutions by insisting Virginia expand a broken, outdated, and unsustainable Medicaid program. It’s time for our lawmakers to stop playing games with Virginian’s healthcare and pass a clean budget.”
