SALT LAKE CITY, UT —Today, Americans for Prosperity- Utah (AFP-UT) celebrates the victory of former AFP-UT Community Engagement Director Heidi Balderree for winning her primary race for Senate District 22 and is looking forward to continuing to work with her in the state senate.
Combined with a strategic mail and digital effort, AFP-UT’s powerful grassroots army made over 30,000 citizen contacts for the race by knocking doors and reaching voters on the phone to share about Heidi’s record and ambitious plans for office.
AFP-UT State Director, Kevin Greene, released the following statement:
“With Balderree’s victory, our state is one step closer to a legislature that works for all Utahns. Balderree is a policy champion who will advance freedom and prosperity across the state, cut through government red tape, fight for education freedom, and grow Utah’s housing abundance. Senator Balderree hit the ground running in her first session and we can’t wait to work with her on the most pressing issues facing our state in the years to come.
“We’re grateful to our grassroots activists and volunteers for their tireless efforts in canvassing Senate District 22 and connecting with voters on the issues that matter most to them, demonstrating once again that AFP-UT is unmatched in our grassroots infrastructure and making the difference in critical elections.”
