Jun 27, 2024 by AFP

AUSTIN, TX – Today, Americans for Prosperity-Texas (AFP-TX) excitedly announced its endorsement of Representative Caroline Harris Davila for the Texas House of Representatives, putting the full weight of its grassroots army to make sure she can continue to serve her constituents in Round Rock.

Harris Davila has been a champion for education freedom who will continue to fight alongside AFP-TX and Governor Greg Abbott for universal school choice in the 2025 legislative session. She is a trusted voice on economic and fiscal issues. Harris Davila authored several key Personal Option health care bills that turn patients into shoppers by requiring price transparency and itemized billing for medical services. AFP-TX is excited to partner with her on more Personal Option health care legislation during the 2025 session.

Harris Davila, a native of Round Rock, TX, was the youngest female Republican member ever elected to the state House. She is a proud member of the Texas Federation of Republican Women.

Kristi Antonick, AFP-TX Coalitions Director, gave the following statement:

“Representative Harris Davila is a champion for Texas values who will take on top issues facing Texans next year – making sure that universal school choice becomes a reality and building an economy that will keep Texas as the best place to live out the American Dream.

“After the 2023 legislative session and four special sessions, it’s never been more important to elect distinguished leaders like Harris Davila to keep Texas on the right track toward freedom and prosperity.”

Background:

AFP-TX’s latest endorsement comes after successfully mobilizing its statewide grassroots army to help 19 of its endorsed candidates win their state primary elections, making tens of thousands of voter contacts through door knocking and strategic digital advertising and mail efforts.
