Pierre, SD – Americans for Prosperity-South Dakota (AFP-SD) welcomed President Trump to the state Friday for the fireworks display at Mount Rushmore, part of the nationwide celebrations for our country’s 250th birthday.
AFP-SD State Director Jennifer Beving released the following statement:
“We’d like to thank President Trump for visiting our great state and helping celebrate our independence at one of our country’s most iconic landmarks. South Dakota is proud to be a part of those celebrations, just as we take pride in our state’s all-American spirit of independence.
“Our priority at AFP-SD is to invest in the values that have made this country stand out for the last 250 years. It’s why we’ll continue to push for policies of limited government, lower taxes, small business growth, and free market enterprise. It’s why we’ll continue to be a voice for ordinary South Dakotans, this year and every year.”
