AFP-SC Celebrates House Passage of Legislation to Unleash American Energy
COLUMBIA, SC—Today, Americans for Prosperity-South Carolina (AFP-SC) is thrilled to see the House pass H. 5118, the South Carolina Energy Security Act, and H. 5120, a continuing resolution that calls on Congress to work in good faith to reform federal permitting and environmental review processes.
AFP-SC State Director, Candace Carroll, released the following statement:
“We are thankful that Speaker Smith and the House took steps to reform our state’s permitting process and ensure families in South Carolina have access to safe, reliable, and affordable electricity.
