AFP-OK Celebrates Legislative Progress on Campus Speech, Parental Choice, and Retirement Freedom in First Month of Session
OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Americans for Prosperity Oklahoma (AFP-OK) celebrated its legislative progress after just a month of working hard to expand prosperity for Oklahomans during the 2026 legislative session. Several critical bills that advance AFP-OK’s priorities – including legislation on campus free speech, parental choice for schools, and retirement freedom – have all made significant advancements in the State Capitol since session began on February 2.
AFP-OK State Director John Tidwell issued the following statement:
“In just a month, the Prosperity Across the Prairie agenda has made significant strides thanks to our team’s dedicated work in Oklahoma City. Whether it’s free speech on our campuses or empowering parents, AFP-OK remains committed to making the Sooner State a place where individual freedom can thrive.
“I’m proud of our progress so far in the 2026 legislative session, and I look forward to seeing what else we accomplish between now and the end of May.”
