AFP-OH Sends Message to Brown and Kaptur as they visit Toledo
TOLEDO, OH—Today, Americans for Prosperity-Ohio State Director Donovan O’Neil released the following statement as Sen. Sherrod Brown and Rep. Marcy Kaptur visit Toledo touting the radical policies they have supported in tandem with the Biden-Harris administration, which are creating a cost-of-living crisis for Ohioans.
“This weekend in Toledo, Sherrod Brown and Marcy Kaptur are trying to re-frame their policy records while Ohioans are paying, on average, more than $25,000 per year to maintain the same standard of living they had in 2021. The cost-of-living crisis the Buckeye state is experiencing shows that their policies are harming all Ohio families.
“Under the Biden-Harris administration, Ohioans have been struggling from the continued inflation and harsh regulations coming out of DC. Thanks to Senator Brown’s radical agenda, working families can barely afford groceries to feed their families while small businesses are drowning in red-tape restrictions.
“It’s clear that Americans are losing confidence in our economy, and Sherrod Brown and Marcy Kaptur are doing nothing about it. Our currently elected officials aren’t working for us when they support these radical policies—they are only working against us.”
