Dover, New Hampshire — Americans for Prosperity-New Hampshire (AFP-NH) released the following statement ahead of Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear’s visit to the Granite State.
“While Governor Beshear markets himself as a pragmatic leader in New Hampshire this weekend, Granite Staters should remember he vetoed the Education Freedom Tax Credit program for Kentucky families. His actions stand in sharp contrast to New Hampshire, where just last week the legislature passed a home education bill that reduces unnecessary mandates on families when it comes to their child’s education.
“New Hampshire takes pride in the advantage that puts students and families first, keeps taxes low, and creates an environment where everyone has an opportunity to succeed. That advantage is threatened when out-of-state leaders, if you can even call them leaders, come here promoting the same failed policies that have held other states back.”
