ST. PAUL, MN – Americans for Prosperity-Minnesota (AFP-MN) called out Governor Tim Walz for leaving the state to hold a townhall event in Iowa on Friday in the middle of Minnesota’s legislative session, calling on him to return to St. Paul to clean up the mess from his first six years in office.
AFP-MN State Director Jake Coleman made the following statement:
“While Minnesota faces a looming budget crisis, skyrocketing crime and a crumbling education system, Tim Walz is out joyriding through red states chasing his presidential dreams.
“Minnesotans deserve better than a part-time governor. Get back to St. Paul and do the job taxpayers are paying you to do.”
