ST. PAUL, MN – Americans for Prosperity-Minnesota (AFP-MN) condemned Governor Tim Walz for his legacy of waste, fraud and scandals in his seven years as governor following his final state of the state address on Tuesday night.
Jake Coleman, AFP-MN state director, gave the following statement:
“Tim Walz proposing new taxes and touting Minnesota as the best place in America to raise a child while the FBI raids fraudulent daycares is a fitting end to his disastrous two terms in office. To call the last seven years ‘complicated’ makes light of the rampant fraud, waste, punishing taxes, dangerous rhetoric, and erosion of Minnesotans’ civil liberties that he holds much of the blame for over that time.
“His last eight months in office should be spent apologizing to voters for failing them, not stumping for candidates in other states. Minnesota can’t afford any more of Walz’s ‘progress.'”
