JEFFERSON CITY, MO – Americans for Prosperity-Missouri (AFP-MO) today released its 2025 legislative scorecard to hold elected representatives accountable for how they voted on the most important policy issues in this year’s legislative session.
One hundred one members of the Missouri House and Senate earned a score of 90 or higher for their votes on critical legislation, including bills to reduce the state income tax, expand education freedom for students and parents, and rein in regulatory overreach.
As the state’s premier grassroots organization, AFP-MO brought everyday Missourians into the fight this year for policies that will promote economic opportunity and limited government in the Show Me State.

AFP-MO State Director Gary Hollis gave the following statement:
“This year, our state’s leaders accomplished important policy victories for Missouri’s families and businesses. AFP-MO thanks Senate Pro-Tempore Cindy O’Laughlin, Speaker Jon Patterson, and our many prosperity partners who worked this session to make Missouri a better place to live and work. We also thank Governor Kehoe for creating the vision needed for a successful session and for signing these bills into law.
“While we celebrate a successful session, these successes must be only the first steps in our efforts to make Missouri into the best place in the Midwest to do business and raise a family.
“We look forward to continuing to work with Governor Kehoe and our partners in the legislature to tackle the emerging property tax crisis, eliminate the state income tax, guarantee access to quality education for every Missouri student, and implement regulatory reforms like the REINS Act to signal to entrepreneurs that Missouri is open for business.”
