Lansing, MI — Americans for Prosperity-Michigan (AFP-MI) tonight congratulated John James on winning the Republican nomination for Governor.
Tim Golding, AFP-MI State Director, released the following statement:
“John James has spent his career in Michigan manufacturing, growing a business and creating jobs, and that’s exactly the experience Michigan needs after years of rising costs and a shrinking manufacturing base. He earned this nomination running on the same priorities AFP-MI has pushed in Lansing for over a decade: cutting taxes, cutting red tape, and giving Michigan families more control over their own paychecks. Our volunteers will be working across the state between now and November to make sure Michigan families understand the clear choice in front of them this fall.”
