ARLINGTON, VA— Americans for Prosperity applauds the Senate’s decision to reject the renomination of Lauren McFerran to the NLRB. Senators Manchin and Sinema chose the right side of history on this occasion by rejecting this last-ditch power grab and standing up for workers’ freedom.
AFP Vice President of Government Affairs Akash Chougule commented:
“This is a victory for American workers. It is also a step in the right direction, allowing the incoming administration to nominate a candidate who supports an agenda that does not stifle growth with legally questionable labor laws. It is President Trump’s time, as in the past, to nominate a candidate to the Board with a strong track record of facilitating a successful labor law environment. At AFP, we will continue to advocate for the right choices for hard-working Americans.”
