Harrisburg, Pennsylvania—Today Americans for Prosperity (AFP) announced new leadership for the grassroots organization’s Pennsylvania chapter.

Current AFP-PA State Director Ashley Klingensmith is transitioning to a new role as regional vice president at Americans for Prosperity, overseeing the growth of seven state chapters across the country. She is passing the torch to current AFP-PA Deputy Director Emily Greene who will take the helm as the new state director.

I’ve never been more excited for the Pennsylvania chapter, now greater is scale than in it’s fourteen year history. Under Emily’s leadership, it will continue to grow and thrive through expansion and the continued transformation she’s ushered to date.” Klingensmith said after the announcement.

A graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, Emily has worked with AFP-PA for six years and is a veteran of multiple political campaigns.

“I’m thrilled to take on this exciting opportunity to ‘let freedom ring’ across the Commonwealth. This year, we have more opportunity than ever to change the trajectory of this country and Commonwealth. All eyes are on Pennsylvania, and our tens of thousands of activists are positioned to create change through their work in the grassroots,” said Greene.
