MADISON, WI—Americans for Prosperity-Wisconsin (AFP-WI) tonight released a statement congratulating State Representative John Jagler on his primary victory and urged Wisconsinites to support Jagler’s candidacy for state senate in the special election on April 6th. The group will continue to leverage its grassroots and other tactics to support Jagler’s general election bid to the Wisconsin State Senate.
AFP-WI State Director Eric Bott issued the following statement:
“State Representative John Jagler has a proven track record of fighting for fiscally responsible, principled policy in the Wisconsin Assembly. Especially now, it’s essential that Wisconsinites have a leader in Madison working hard to lower the tax burden, support greater educational opportunities, and make it easier for individuals to provide for their families. John Jagler is that voice and we applaud his primary victory this evening. Our activists look forward to continuing their efforts through the snow to elect him to the State Senate this April.”
AFP-WI endorsed State Representative John Jagler for State Senate District 13 in December.
AFP-WI activists achieved more than 138,000 contacts with voters throughout the effort, at the doors, on the phones, through texting messaging, and through targeted direct mail and digital advertisements.
