AFP-SC Made 67,000+ Overall Voter Contacts for Endorsed Candidates, Sees 6 Total Primary Victories
COLUMBIA, SC—Tonight, Americans for Prosperity-South Carolina (AFP-SC) celebrated the success of two endorsed candidates who secured their runoffs in the primary election, making the total six AFP-SC endorsed candidates moving to the general election. Both races were decided by less than 500 votes and thanks to AFP-SC’s grassroots capability, more than 15,000 doors were reached between the two districts.
By making more than 67,000 overall voters contacts and utilizing digital and mail campaigns, AFP-SC successfully engaged in these pivotal races and strategically impacted voter turnout. In the coming months AFP-SC will continue to support these primary winners as well as additional candidates moving into November.
AFP-SC Director of Public Affairs, Candace Carroll, released the following statement:
“In order to make South Carolina the freest state in the south, we need policy champions in office to help advance freedom and prosperity, while removing government barriers. Tonight, we saw two more principled candidates move forward, getting one step closer to representing South Carolinians all thanks to the power of our grassroots army.
“We’re thrilled that six AFP-SC backed candidates will make their way to the general election to ensure our legislature is one that can advance universal education freedom, structural tax reform, deregulate our businesses, and ensure every South Carolinian has a personal option in health care.”
