AFP-KS Sees 28 Endorsed Candidates Win General Election After Making More than 200,000 Overall Points of Voter Outreach
TOPEKA, KS—Tonight, Americans for Prosperity-Kansas (AFP-KS) congratulates 28 endorsed candidates who won election and re-election to the Kansas state legislature.
By reaching more than 200,000 Kansans across the state through door knocking, calls, as well as digital and mail campaigns, AFP-KS was able to support candidates who will drive economic progress, cut regulatory red tape, grow access to health care, support opportunities for learners among other priorities secure a seat in the legislature.
AFP-KS State Director, Elizabeth Patton, released the following statement:
“With costly special sessions, high taxes and inflation, and rising utility bills for Kansans, tonight’s outcome was vital in making our state’s future stronger and brighter. AFP-KS is thrilled that 28 principled leaders are returning or heading to Topeka for the first time to ensure policies that uplift hardworking Kansas families are carried out next session. Our permanent grassroots base at AFP does politics so we can implement policies and thanks to tonight’s outcome we know a lot of commonsense reforms can be accomplished next year.”
