WASHINGTON, DC – This week, Americans for Prosperity – Montana awarded Senator Steve Daines with the “Pioneers for Prosperity” award.
The award honors distinguished lawmakers who were policy champions during the 118th Congress. Senator Daines is a leader on the frontlines in Congress, advancing principles and policies that advance the conservative movement while proactively opposing harmful ideas that grow the size of government and take money out of taxpayers’ paychecks. The “Pioneers for Prosperity” stood firm against ill-advised legislation that would have deepened the hardships felt by working families and worked closely with AFP in Washington as well as with our grassroots communities in their home states.
Lawmakers earned recognition for supporting bills such as the Employee Rights Act, Strategic Production Response Act, Lower Energy Costs Act, Health Care Fairness for All Act, and other pivotal pieces of legislation that offer common-sense solutions that would improve Americans’ lives.
U.S. Senator Steve Daines (R-MT) earned this distinction for his representation of The Treasure State.
Upon receiving the award Senator Steve Daines released the following statement:
“Americans for Prosperity is a champion for the conservative movement and has been leading the fight against the Biden-Harris administration’s dangerous economic policies. I am honored to receive the Pioneers for Prosperity Award and I look forward to working with AFP in the future to fight for the values that make our country great.”
AFP-MT Deputy State Director Henry Kriegel released the following statement:
“Senator Daines is a staunch ally of Montanans in Congress, and AFP is proud to present him with this ‘Pioneers of Prosperity’ award. Senator Daines has fought against the dangerous economic policies of the Biden-Harris administration that have caused a cost-of-living crisis in Montana. AFP appreciates his work in Congress and he deserves to be recognized for his principled leadership.”
