ARLINGTON, VA— This week, Americans for Prosperity (AFP) state chapters held more than 60 “Protect Prosperity” Tax Day events as part of its ongoing national effort to renew the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act (TCJA). The focus of the events was to share a united message that Congress must extend the Trump Tax Cuts.
AFP is leading the largest conservative efforts across the country to support the Trump Tax Cuts. From California to New Hampshire; From Florida to Alaska, AFP activists supported tax cuts by hosting rallies on the streets and lawmaker’s offices; launched digital billboard trucks in key districts, knocked on voters’ doors, and called citizens on the phone to drive the need to extend tax cuts. This grassroots activity is bolstered by a 7 figure buy that includes digital ads, direct mail and connected TV. AFP’s unparalleled grassroots infrastructure is sending a message to both constituents and Congress was the same: the long-term growth of our economy and prosperity of millions of Americans is on the line – failure isn’t an option.
