Americans For Prosperity – Wisconsin Announces New Legislative Director
MADISON, WI –Americans for Prosperity-Wisconsin (AFP-WI) announced the hire of Jerry Ponio as Legislative Director. Ponio previously served as Chief of Staff to Senator Alberta Darling.

Prior to joining AFP-WI, Ponio worked in the office of Senator Alberta Darling since 2014, serving most recently as Chief of Staff. He brings extensive experience working in the Wisconsin State Senate, including on the Joint Finance, Education, and Judiciary and Public Safety committees. Prior to that, he worked for Representative John Nygren and Representative Jim Ott. Ponio is a proud alumnus of the University of Wisconsin-Madison and currently resides in Madison with his family.
