JACKSON, MS — Americans for Prosperity – MS (AFP-MS) released its priorities for the 2023 legislative session, with a focus on reducing regulatory burdens around health care, education choice, and economic opportunity.
AFP-MS State Director Starla Brown released the following statement:
“We are eager to work with legislators and leadership to make Mississippi the best state to start a business, raise a family and build a community where everyone can live a life of meaning. This session we are looking for opportunities to reduce regulatory burdens across the board. This means giving patients health care options that fit their needs and budgets, empowering families and students to choose what’s best for their educational needs, making it easier to create jobs and a thriving business community, and ensuring safe and strong communities. AFP-MS is ready to hit the ground running and push for solutions that provide opportunity for all Mississippians.”
