Americans for Prosperity-Florida Commends Legislature Protecting Taxpayer Funds by Ending Enterprise Florida
Tallahassee, Fla. – Americans for Prosperity-Florida today issued the following statement after the Florida Legislature passed HB 5, a bill that will terminate Enterprise Florida. The bill now goes to Governor Ron DeSantis for his signature.
“We commend the Florida legislature for eliminating Enterprise Florida, an ineffective program that did more for existing corporations than for small businesses and job creation,” said AFP-FL State Director Skylar Zander. “We thank the Legislature for this legislation, and we particularly appreciate House Speaker Paul Renner for his leadership and Representative Tiffany Esposito for shepherding this important bill to passage. We look forward to Governor DeSantis swiftly signing this important legislation into law.”
