Richmond, VA – On Wednesday, the Virginia House of Delegates passed HB 680 unanimously. This bill codifies Gov. Youngkin’s order last year scrapping college degree requirements for most state government jobs.

Americans for Prosperity-Virginia (AFP-VA) State Director C.J. Sailor released the following statement:

“We thank the Delegates for passing HB 680 unanimously. Americans for Prosperity-Virginia has been working on this issue diligently because we know it will remove unnecessary barriers for a large segment of Virginia’s population, while improving the quality of our state government workforce. We also want to thank Cicero Institute for partnering with us on the legislative front and Governor Younkin for setting an example through his executive order.”
