AFP: Time for Legislature to Seize Opportunity on Tax Reform
Grassroots group applauds Revenue Committee members for advancing LB 947
LINCOLN, Nebr.–Americans for Prosperity–Nebraska (AFP-NE) on Tuesday responded to the Revenue Committee’s 5-3 vote to advance Gov. Ricketts’ tax reform proposal.
“We applaud the members of the Revenue Committee who advanced a tax reform plan that will reduce the tax burden for families from Omaha to Kimball. Thanks to Gov. Ricketts and Chairman Smith’s leadership the Legislature will have the opportunity to enact meaningful tax relief in the 2018 session. We hope senators seize this opportunity,” said State Director Jessica Shelburn.
