COLUMBIA, SC—Following the Labor, Commerce, and Industry Committee meeting, Americans for Prosperity – South Carolina (AFP-SC) is calling for the House to advance H. 5118, the South Carolina Energy Security Act. AFP-SC State Director, Candace Carroll, released the following statement:
“Energy Week presents the perfect time for the State House to take action on H. 5120 which would compel federal lawmakers to pass much-needed reforms to the federal permitting process. AFP-SC is proud to support policies that will unleash American energy.

We thank the Labor, Commerce, and Industry Committee for advancing this important piece of legislation and urge swift House passage of H. 5118.”
