AFP Protects Taxpayers’ Rights in Colorado
When lawmakers tried to go around our state’s constitution, Americans for Prosperity and our activists were there to stop it. Colorado’s constitution requires any new taxes to be approved by the voters, yet last fall, politicians in Denver attempted to raise taxes without our consent during a special session.
Thanks to the hard work of our activists, we were able to stop the tax hike and protect taxpayers’ constitutional rights, saving them nearly $24 million in the process.
