Philadelphia, Pennsylvania—Today, Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg visited the City of Brotherly Love to boost the Biden Administration and highlight infrastructure spending.

Americans for Prosperity-Pennsylvania (AFP-PA) Philadelphia-area Grassroots Engagement Director Roslyn Williams issued the following statement as Secretary Buttigieg visited Philadelphia:

“The President and members of his administration keep coming to Philly to tell us how much of our money they spent and how much better things are now because of ‘Bidenomics.’ But every big-government spending project and every top-down policy from the White House means more and more money comes out of the paychecks of hard-working Philadelphians.

“Every day, Philadelphians have to live within a budget and make hard choices to provide for their families. It’s time Washington stuck to a budget and made hard choices as our elected leaders. Big government spending isn’t the solution. It’s the problem. And more and more Philadelphians are waking up to that reality.”
