Harrisburg, Pennsylvania—Americans for Prosperity-Pennsylvania (AFP-PA) today released its annual scorecard evaluating the voting record of every member of the Pennsylvania General Assembly on a selection of bills that, if passed, would advance freedom and opportunity in the Keystone State.
In an open letter, AFP-PA Deputy State Director Emily Greene acknowledges that this legislative session has seen many unprecedented events including leadership changes that have made this session particularly unproductive. However, she highlights opportunities to protect free speech and promote greater health care access that are still possible to accomplish this year.
After releasing the scorecard, Greene gave the following statement:
“We are pleased to make this resource available to Keystone voters. Our democratic republic relies on an engaged and informed citizenry to hold lawmakers accountable. This scorecard can arm Pennsylvanians’ with information to better understand what is and isn’t happening on their behalf in Harrisburg.
“We also wish to thank the 21 senators and 18 representatives who voted 100 percent of the time to empower workers, protect taxpayers, uphold civil liberties, and restore second chances in the commonwealth. We encourage every Pennsylvanian to look up their lawmakers and see how they voted at PATaxpayerScorecard.com”
